What happens
Clean presentation markers without rewriting
Copied ChatGPT responses may include Markdown headings, bold emphasis, bullet prefixes, blockquotes, divider lines, or long dashes. The cleaner removes those selected markers while retaining the readable text inside them.
The result is plain text that is easier to paste into email, documents, content editors, and systems that do not need Markdown formatting.
Markdown cleanup
Removes heading prefixes, bold pairs, quote prefixes, bullets, and standalone dividers.
Dash normalization
Replaces em dash, horizontal bar, two-em dash, and three-em dash characters with a hyphen.
